jorgemiguel4,

About password:
- Remove power from router, then reconnect and start clicking fast on QSS button until SYS Led starts blinking very fast
- Set you computer IP to 192.168.1.2
- Connect your router using Telnet 192.168.1.1 with putty or whatever you use...

Execute the commands:
- mount_root
- passwd

You will be prompted for the new password in passwd command.
I just follow your tips (same here http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/generic.failsafe)

Its cool. Thank you ! Now, lets play with QoS :)

I had to revert back to 1.5.5 on my WNDR3800: on 1.5.7, wifi is quite unstable (stops working every few hours, and I didn't have enough time to investigate further as it's a production environment). More, the connection list is crowded of all the connections (almost the full nat table).

Sorry, this won't help, but it's just a report :)

Anyone got a problem with Rootfs on External Storage (extroot) ?

Couldn't mount as a rootfs on this branch.

Here is my fstab

Code: Select all

config global automount
	option from_fstab 1
	option anon_mount 1

config global autoswap
	option from_fstab 1
	option anon_swap 0

config mount
	option target /overlay
	option device	/dev/sda2
	option fstype	ext4
	option options	rw,sync
	option enabled	1
	option enabled_fsck 0

config swap
	option device	/dev/sda1
	option enabled	1

First login time zone now defaults to "Gambia, Liberia, Morocco" instead of "London" ?

ispyisail: yes, it's been that way for a while. The difference is that London uses Daylight Savings Time. The "standard" +0:00 UTC time isn't used by many countries except England, but that's not quite right either since England has DST,even though it's in the reference time zone. So, the reference time zone ends up not having too many large countries that use it by default, but it's still the standard/refernece.

If it is upload, then the source should be your local computer, not the destination - of course it won't work this way.

You are right,
I was confused cause there was some default rules using ports and destination there.
thanks
