Thanks for posting patched set of binaries out of band. Two quick questions.
1) Can one preserve settings from 1.5.7 to this 1.5.x patched code or flash and invest another 4hrs redoing?
2) The only bug that bothers me is that some of my devices would stop reconnecting after a week or so and a few hundred of GBs, whichever one might be causing the issue. I setup a weekly reboot, then dropped it to daily and everything else that I use seems to work now. Should I be patching or no fix for what I'm experiencing here?
Thanks, Marv

its 1.5.7+ so in theory it should work

Notice there is a new OpenWRT release of AA - 14-Oct. Any ETA for a new 1.5.7, or will it be 1.5.8?

U232 P9 with prolink 2303HX. I use the 2nd, 3rd & 5th pins for rx, tx & ground. Shouldn't it work? I will try to solder the wire on the board and give it another shot.

It's using USB, so I suppose it around 5v. I set the speed to 115200 and others as in the guide.

But I now wasn't able to get any readings at the tx. Is the board spoilt?
I still can see the login page on the browser though and ping in normal condition.

Try 57600 for serial speed or other speed until you get readable characters.
If you get those unreadable characters, it should mean your serial is working except the speed is set incorrectly.

I measured the tx of the cable and found that its 8v. Is it ko? Haha. The thing now is there is no voltage reading now at the tx.
