If you are using inbound QoS then the solution is simply to lower the download link speed shown on the download page.

Start by using 5Mbps and then increase until the problem returns.

Your GL will run out of gas around 10Mbps I predict.

Thank you for reply. I will try it today or tomorrow. My link speed is 1024 ... 1Mbit line .. for this reason i was surprised because this is not the line with speed of light :)

Reset button is not working on my g300nh with 1.3.14. I know how to change the LED behavior, but I can't seem to find how to use gpio-buttons to diagnose the script or what not.

I'm also curious how to change button behavior ex: make the usb button run a script, etc.

Are you trying to restore your settings from backup after loading Gargoyle?.
No I read other posts here prior to upgrade to 1.3.14, so I started configuring 1.3.14 from scratch

Thanks, I have been watching and using various firmware for years, and Tomato is one I used and preferred for a long time. Unfortunately I needed bandwidth quotas as implemented by Gargoyle, hence the switch, otherwise quite likely I would still be using it
behappy wrote: Gargoyle is slightly diiferent from other builds w. the initial setup. Normally the router will take yr WAN dns and gateway and make a router table at first before any setup as a static router. Try adding this section in yr network config file

config 'route'
option 'interface' 'wan'
option 'target' '192.x.0.0' <--- yr ip sector /16 or /24
option 'netmask' '255.255.255.x' <--- yr netmask
option 'gateway' '0.0.0.0' <-- default must be

config 'route'
option 'interface' 'wan'
option 'target' '0.0.0.0' <--- default
option 'netmask' '0.0.0.0' <--- default
option 'gateway' '192.x.0.1' <--- yr wan ip
I'll have to get my head around what this does and next attempt @ 1.3.14 I will add this in. Thanks

Got myself a DIR825 over the weekend on ebay. Flash gargoyle was so much easier compare to wzr-hp-g300nh.

Everything seems to work well, except the wifi is very unstable.

Using WR1043ND v1.8 ,and my USB card TL-WN821N v1 don't connect do router in N mode. I have to switch manualy to G mode in card option to be connected.
In Gargoyle 1.3.13 is the same.
Tried also last openwrt rc5 from 19.05.2011,and it's the same.

The last working version is 1.3.12 ,with i still use becouse of this...
Can it be fixed ?

Hi! This version is totally screwed on WR741ND. Something eats up all the CPU, and makes anything you want to do really slow... even routing, so no usable WAN connection.
The previous version was unstable, slowed down in a few days.

But works like a charm on WR1043ND :)

Thanks for your efforts!

Check your modem logs. Most likely a problem with your line or ISP. There have been no recent changes in Gargoyle related to PPPoE.
