You can compile yourself or ask someone else to do so.
Thanks, no idea how to do so, seems this issue started at 19.07 but I also have this problem with 18.06. Maybe it's another issue.

Hi,

Pls help: Tor relay server (bridge) not working.
Found system logs that repeat every ~7 minutes:

Bootstrapped 80%: Connecting to the Tor network
New control connection opened from 127.0.0.1.
Bootstrapped 85%: Finishing handshake with first hop
Out of memory on realloc(). Dying.

My hardware: TP-Link WDR3600 128MB Ram, tor cache data on 4GB extroot drive.

Cheers

This is probably a long-term problem: https://forum.openwrt.org/t/tor-relay-keeps-dying/2855

 Try 1GB SWAP partition on extroot (reformat USB storage to 3GB storage and 1GB swap partition). Maybe it helps, I don't know.

Out of the clear blue, today I saw this boot loop issue, resolved in the very same way (deleting BW data). This router has had the current build since it came out, so the problem took a very long time to turn up. Archer C7V2.

Is there any way to guard against this issue, assuming it wasn't a total fluke? If it was a fluke, it's awfully similar to the above.

I do see this in the release notes for changes post 1.12, but it's about the V1:

I'm not sure if I should post here or start a new thread elsewhere, but I've just (finally) upgraded from 1.10.0 to 1.12.0 on my 2 routers (Archer C7 and Netgear WNDR3700). I have VOIP running on the latter. Prior to upgrading, I did a backup of the 1.10.0 settings, plus copied all the DHCP settings into an excel spreadsheet, plus pasted screenshots of the various Gargoyle settings pages into the same spreadsheet. I didn't preserve settings or restore a backup when recreating all of the settings in 1.12.0. I did it all manually. But my Gigaset IP phone now won't register. I downgraded back to 1.10.0 and reinstalled the backup and the phone registered fine. Then I upgraded to 1.12.0 again and reinstalled the 1.12.0 backup and the phone won't register again. Any suggestions for what might be causing the issue? I'll have to revert back to 1.10.0 for now because the phone is needed for my work.

Any help would be much appreciated. I might compare the backup files side by side as well to see if that reveals any issues.

Try a more recent version of 1.12.x (see iSpyiSail's builds). A bug that prevented PPTP connections was fixed, and i suspect it may fix a similar issue with SIP connections.

That seems to have fixed things. Thanks Lantis and thanks iSpyiSail.

I've looked for the newer iSpyiSail's builds, but I didn't see any newer 1.12 versions. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. I've used them before, but all I see is everything built for 1.11 in 2019. I looked in the forums, but I could just be having a "moment" and missing the obvious. Thanks for your help. Everyone here is doing work!
