Thank you, but it appeears that builds for my particular router are missing. Its a MyNet N750.

There are builds for n600 version and mynet-rext. But not n750.

Also, it seems like the changelog link leads to a 404 error. possible to get change log elsewhere?

I was looking at 1.13.x builds. Should I not be using those?

Then you should be using ath79 (the successor to ar71xx).
You cannot preserve settings moving to or from those builds due to a significant architecture change.

Thanks for clarification. Is there documentation somewhere what ar71xx to ath79 transition means? Is this move to a new kernel? Or what was the benefit of the move?

Worth reading the ar71xx to ath79 upgrade guide while you are there

Thanks. Attempted to install the 1.13.x (ath79 build), installs ok, works too, but once the router is powered off then powered back on its non responsive. Have to do factory reset via physical reset button. So something is wrong with it at least for WD My Net N750

Installed the
| Gargoyle version 1.12.X | OpenWrt 18.06 branch |
| Gargoyle revision 80899c80| OpenWrt commit 7b49c0b |
| Built June 10, 2020 | Target ar71xx/usb_large |

and its working. I hope by the time 1.13 is released the issue with not coming up after power cycle is resolved.

That sounds like the symptoms of a full flash chip, but hard to know without logs.
Unfortunately, unless someone shows what the problem is, its unlikely to get fixed before 1.13 release. So if you have the inclination to go back and try it and provide more information, that would be great.

Otherwise we'll see how we go :)

I can provide logs, what do you need? After power cycle the unit is unresponsive so it would have to be something while the unit is up after initial flash.

Also, should we take this to private messages or another thread? Not sure if we're hi jacking this one. Id like to get another issue addressed that is happening with mynet n750 where randomly wifi devices cant connect to it and I have to do 'wifi down' 'wifi up' as a cronjob every few days to make sure that doesnt happen, thats on the officially released 1.12

also out of the 4 LEDs on the front only the power one works, no wifi or internet leds (4th one is WPS)

If necessary/possible I could solder on a serial header, but Id need pinout instructions.

Another thread would be best.
A log of before you restart it (logread, dmesg, df -h) are all useful.
A log of when it is in the failed state is probably the most telling, is it not accessible over SSH even in this state? What if you set a manual IP address.
If you can get it into failsafe mode, something telling may be in there as well.
Otherwise it would need to be a serial boot log which i understand is a large impetus to put on someone.
