Client ports don’t matter, only the server.
If your server has settings to limit the server ports, this should be enabled.

Forwarding those will then be fine.

I have solved this problem for a long time and yes, it's nathelper OpenWrt 15.05 (Chaos Calmer) - here it went fully automatic, but from the LEDE vision, the range of passive ports must be enabled.

Code: Select all

[ 391.776779] nf_conntrack: default automatic helper assignment has been turned off for security reasons and CT-based firewall rule not found. Use the iptables CT target to attach helpers instead.

Yes, on the router do the port forwarding range from 55536 to 55663 and it should work.

Thanks Gargoyle Team

I upgraded with No Preserve.
UI wouldn't allow DHCP Assignments to be Saved.
Reset, Reconfigured.
All OK after Reset.
QoS Rules are different from the Ruleset Update Thread.

Installed on a c7 v2 router, coming from RC5 with preserving settings. Getting slow/none intermittent internet connection after a couple of hours (random), suspect is a router problem cause seems to fix when rebooting router.

Here you wrote that it is going to be without errors:
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=11898&p=52277#p52277

In this case, I recommend resetting to defaults without preserving the settings and setting it up again.

EDIT: I was wondering if you use the adblock plugin, turn it off and try stability.

I was using adblock plugin and definitely the problem was worse with it, unistalled but problem persist. I will try a new install

Adding the port forwarding range works.

Since the previous build doesn't require the port forwarding range setting, does this mean we need to do this moving forward?

Thanks.

Yes, until I do some reading about reinstating the FTP (and other) NAT helpers correctly.

Just want to point out something cosmetic. The bandwidth usage table and display months interval. The displayed months are shifted...like Jan 2019 is actually Feb 2019 and Feb 2019 is actually Mar 2019.
