Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) - Folding Home

Post by ispyisail »

I found this article interesting

https://www.gamesradar.com/au/nvidias-c ... -covid-19/

No idea if it helps but I've set up 4 servers

I've found the points system for different hardware interesting.

Per day:
7 year old dual xeon CPU server = 6k
3 year old i7 with Quadro = 60k
2 year old xeon workstation (24 core) with p4000 Quadro = 700k per day

Big difference

As I understand it.......

Dr Eric Bishop, project founder, lead developer of Gargoyle completed his PhD in a subject very similar to "Folding Home".

It is very possible that he could be a world expert in the effectiveness of this technology?

I would say that every help is good. I don't have such powerful computers, so I can't serve. Nice killer that covid19. We'll see what happens after the quarantine and how it all turns out.

I would like to add: I wish everyone good health, to get out of it as the whole world.

I just ran Folding home on my computer last month, if I discovered this earlier I would be running it for years now.
