Gargoyle can by easly extended by plugins. First - plugin usb_storage, my plugin_ftp (http://openrouter.info/forum/viewtopic. ... 3904#p3904), and now Artur wrote plugin for tinyproxy (http://openrouter.info/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=472). So system for installation plugin via gui would be a good idea. What do you think?

That looks very cool!

Only concern is Flash Ram space.

The Broadcom versions are about 3MB flash right now
Once the newer Broadcom drivers get included, that size
could increase as well.

Some of the newer Atheros run around 4MB flash size

The WZR-HP-G300NH is 5MB flash binary

From what I understand, you can't use the full 4MB of flash,
you are actually limited to 3.6 or 3.7MB flash image

So, would this only be for routers that have 8MB flash or larger?

And also, some devices that have 8MB flash but only 16MB Ram,
will also run out of memory very quickly.

You'd probably be limited to support for 8MB Flash / 32MB Ram
routers in order to handle additional plugins.
