Glad it's not just me. I was able to add a time restriction but adding a rule to block dns caused the first boot and yesterday it resulted in a brick which required the serial connection to fix. This was on a brand new WRT1900ACS.
a version in which you do not there is a problem with DDNS

Only rebooted once since 11th June and that was when my ISP turned off the internet for "maintenance works" causing ping watchdog to reboot the router as per my settings. This image is AMAZINGLY stable!! The longest stock firmware ever managed to stay up was 8 days before needing a manual reboot!

This is the first version that's been stable on my TP-Link WR1043ND v1.11 for ages. It had developed a tendency to stop working for no apparent reason after a few hours, despite several attempts to find out why. I always upgrade without preserving settings, so that wasn't it. I suspected a hardware problem, but it's been working like a charm with this release.

I have scheduled a restart once per week, just in case, but I think I'll stay with this release for a long time, rather than risk losing the stability.

it reached just over 30 days uptime before virgin went down again causing an automatic reboot, meaning that the build is more stable than my ISP connection!!

I'm going away for 10 days but when I get back will look at upgrading to latest build
