Hi, I'm on an Archer C7v2 (older version of V2) on build 1.9.X (Built 20160219-0158 git@3969110) can I preserve setting when upgrading to this build? Or will it mess up? Planning to upgrade this week.

Hi sorry to say no. There was a new 5ghz driver and it messes up if you save settings. If you make a back up you can use WINscp to transfer some of the files across. The ones that are safe to moov across are:
/etc/config/firewall
/etc/config/qos_gargoyle
/etc/ethers
/etc/firewall.user
/etc/hosts
Linksys WRT3200ACM
NETGEAR Nighthawk R7800
NETGEAR R6260

I came finally around to installing it on my Archer C5 V1.2. Seems to be working so far, but I haven't been able to reliably connect to the DSL router using 5GHz WiFi. 2.4GHz works fine after adjusting the country (need channel 13), but 5GHz doesn't seem to work. WiFi scan on the connection page only shows 2.4GHz channels. iw wlan0 scan in a SSH session shows the DSL router just fine.

Upgraded from 1.8.1 to this version on a tl-wdr3600.
I have a problem with my Dynamic DNS Services (no-ip.com and dnsomatic.com). When i add a service and press save changes the message that appears "Please Wait While Settings Are Applied" never go away. So i refresh my webpage, i see at the bottom my added service but it never gets updated. Any solution please?

I updated to this version on Archer C7 v2(old) and it is running very smoothly and I am excited to report that this is the first version where Wireless Gateway + AP works on both 5GHZ and 2.4GHZ.

Well done guys!
