Update.
2.4GHz is finished. Can now detect 20 and 40MHz networks and correctly display them.
Added a legend to the bottom of the graph which allows you to hover over the colour of the network to highlight it on the graph for you. This is useful when two networks are on the same channel and very similar signal strength.

5GHz 20 and 40MHz is finished. Still need to implement the 80MHz detection and then it will be released.

The channel labels for the 5GHz spectrum need to be rotated because there are so many of them. A bit of a pain, but it is the best solution currently. Rotating at an angle similar to the legend made them hard to tell where the channel actually was meant to be.

Pictures updated in first post. Check them out.

Hi,

I did install the plugin but unfortunately the URL: http://192.168.1.1/spectrum_analyser.sh gives me

Bad Gateway
The process did not produce any response

I did remove using the manual procedure then re-installed but I get the same result.

Thank you.

dg

EDIT* - The router is: TP-Link TL-WDR4300 v1

@Lantis I also got the Bad Gateway error. I looked around a little and found a couple of problems
1. incorrect permissions on /plugin_root/www/spectrum_analyser.sh
2. Missing /www/i18n/English-EN/spectrum.js
Can you help someone else get Gargoyle up and running?

So none of you installed the language file from page one?
That permissions issue is interesting though I've never had that.

Can someone grab the language file and check if that fixes.

progress!
With language file installed I get to see the Spectrum Analyser Page but popup error:
"Scan returned no results! Refresh the page to try again, or change bands"
The band drop-down has 2 entries for 2.4GHz but no 5GHz (TL-WDR3600) and the chart has axis X:100-150 and Y 1-14 but is blank
