1. First, in latest build no chance to set TX Power more then 15 dbi. Why?

Revert back to 1.6.2 and everything is OK !

Archer C7 V2 here.
Upgraded fine, 5GHz config and AC seem to be working fine.

One thing I noticed, the pages (Basic Config for example) are broken when using IE, had to switch to Chrome.

Sounds like a pretty sensible solution - but what do you mean by broken?

Did you set your country in the command line? Otherwise I assume you only set your time zone which is not the same.

I mean when I go to the page, which has DHCP (wired) selected, there are about 15 extra boxes showing that should be there - all the options for USB/wireless config.
If I change the dropdown to something else and then back to DHCP (wired) it looks correct, but hitting save doesn't work.
Next time I visit the page, same ugly.

You think that Country is guilty for slow wifi responce from this latest build?

This is responce from iw reg get

Code: Select all

root@Gargoyle:~# iw reg get
country MK: DFS-ETSI
        (2402 - 2482 @ 40), (N/A, 20)
        (5170 - 5250 @ 80), (N/A, 20)
        (5250 - 5330 @ 80), (N/A, 20), DFS

I'm just trying to figure out for you why it wouldn't set above 15dBm. But I don't have an answer sorry.
Continue to use 1.6.2 if it makes you happy.

Yes, Lantis, 1.6.2 works very good for me. For now will stay on this version until you released Stable 1.9 or 2.0 who know. :D

EDIT: Lantis, one suggestion for distributting this build, and next releases. Can you upload to some cloud or FTP so users can get only build for their router. Downloading 300+ MB for only 3-4 MB sucks. If you know what i meen. ;)
