@RichMD The 340 MB file is a zip (7 zip) achieve file of images for all supported routers.
You will need to down load and extract to a temp location then grab the image for your router.

@djt_nz
Thanks, that makes sense. I just hadn't opened it yet to realize it was for all versions.

I installed 1.9 on my WRT1900AC V1 and with a 1Gb wired connection, speedtest.net showed 175Mb down and 23Mb up which is top speed for my connection. I didn't do anything with the wireless config other than via the GUI and I got 300mb (not full AC) but I got 145Mb down and 23Mb up. I will eventually try to get AC working but this is fine for now. I left the 2.4Ghz radio at 20mhz so I only get 130mb but that is good enough. Everything looks good so far.

@RichMD
Another way to switch back to the Linksys partition 1 is the following:

Telnet into the router, if running DD-WRT or Openwrt
Then give this command
ubootenv set boot_part 1
reboot

You can see what partition is the one you are on with this command:
ubootenv get boot_part

This easier then the multiple off/on.

Linksys WRT3200ACM
Linksys WRT1900ACS V1 standby
Everyone has a right to be stupid once in awhile. Yet some just abuse the privilege.

Thanks Bill,
I saw those commands on the DD-WRT page just now and tried them. I get "ubootenv not found". I am still running the gargoyle firmware though. Is there any equivalent for this version?
