evidently some genius responsible for miniupnpd thought storing bandwidth usage values in an unsigned long variable on a 32 bit operating system was a recipe for success. Newsflash: it's not 1995, people aren't using dialup, and bandwidth values can exceed 2^32 bytes.....

Hmm, UPNP seems completely broken with this build. Cant connect to the router (WDR3600).

I downloaded a upnp client specifically to test everything when I committed this fix and it seems to work fine for me. It would be helpful to know if anyone else is having problems.

Details on how to test? Some names of clients?
I have access to windows, Mac and an Ubuntu VM whatever's easiest. In going to see if I can try something.

On PC: Networx (https://www.softperfect.com/products/networx/)

The client can find the router, but can't see the WAN interface of the router .

On Mac: Peakhour (t http://peakhourapp.com): same

I tried on two WDR 3600 routers (sysupgrade).

yeah got it covered phgerin thanks!
i'm using Peakhour on the mac as we speak. i'll be able to confirm for certain in 1 hour that it no longer reports zero after the magical 2^32 number ;)

as for why you can no longer see any traffic at all, i've figured that out too :)

login to your router interface and under Firewall>Port Fowarding untick enable upnp and hit save. wait for the changes to apply.
ssh into the router and issue a firewall restart
sh /usr/lib/gargoyle/restart_firewall.sh

once that has completed go ahead and re-enable upnp.
i suspect the firewall restart is the missing key in all of this. and is only a problem because you and i did a "preserve settings" i assume?

Tested a 6GB download and everything is ok on both Mac (Peakhour) and Window (Networx), didn't test with Linux.

So, thank you very much !
