Properly set hasQMI to true if we do, in fact, have QMI interface

fixed OpenVPN Status always shows no connected clients
openvpn server setup script placed openvpn status file under
/var/openvpn directory, which does not survive router restart.
moved the status file to /var/run directory, which is recreated
as necessary by openvpn init script....

iptables-mod-ipset is no longer a valid package, it has been merged into ipset package, so remove it as a dependency where needed

Hi ispyisail,

Just wanna confirm if this "Linksys WRT310N" was supported on this 2015-May-20 build.

As per the link below.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/16upokgo3lkqy ... 7.txt?dl=0

This router has only 4M flash and 32M ram, Can someone please clarify?

Thanks

if it is on the list, a build was done for it.
you may run into peculiar issues due to lack of space. see how it goes.

I've got a new TL-WR1043ND v2.1 and installed this version. Reason for using Gargoyle: This router has to operate in client mode to link a remote network segment to the main network, all in the same subnet. OpenWRT doesn't seem to support this, for AR71xx, but Gargoyle does.
Install and configuration went okay, very basic setup, QOS etc. disabled as the router is just acting as a manageable WLAN switch ;)

So far, so good. BUT.... the WLAN connection is extremely unstable. The router connects okay, and I start a PING to the remote access point in a SSH session on the router. After a couple or max. 3000 pings without lost packets, the WLAN connection silently fails. I have to restart the wireless connection to restore function (command "wifi" in the SSH shell).
The connection fails even faster without the pings. There is little to no traffic, it's purpose is to access tiny webpage on an Arduino behind the remote AP.

The remote AP is a TP-LINK WR702N running stock firmware 4.18.107 Build 121123 Rel.31456n and has been running for years with a level1 WAP-0006 as client. Signal quality in scan is reported 90% (30m line-of-sight without obstacles, no other WLAN stations on that channel). Encryption is WPA2-PSK.

Is there a Gargoyle version that's better suited for my purpose and the WR1043ND V2.1? WPS is not an option (too complicated and incompatible).

Regards
Ektus.

It might be interesting/worthwhile for you to try Gargoyle v1.6.2 as you do not appear to be requiring an features new in 1.7.x

Is it possible to downgrade from 1.7.x 2015-05-20 to 1.6.2 while preserving settings? If not, I've got to wait for tomorrow, get the router and move it physically to where I can access it with the default IP address for configuring.
