My 3G connection is too skinny to torrent the full zipped file

Been running this overnight. Seems fine to me.
I haven't bothered running a WAN test to see about speed but if other users who were complaining of slow downs could chime in that would be good.

Well yes and no! A torrent containing a single zipped file is much smaller than a torrent containing all of the individual files. However, a torrent with individual files allows the likes of me (on a 30GB/mth 3G connection with teenage family) to download and seed just the file or two that I need.

On my horizon is a shiny new fixed wireless NBN tower - just wish they would turn it on!

Thanks ispyisail. I flashed my TL-WDR3600 with this build but ran into problems when setting up my 3G WAN connection. A problem in a prior build seems to have recurred http://www.gargoyle-router.com/phpbb/vi ... 878#p28000

All of the WAN settings are shown for all of the options DHCP/StaticIP/3g etc etc.



I have reverted to 1.6.2

I have uploaded and unzipped ispyisail gargoyle-ispy_2015-April-20 05_38 build.

Flash this one from March-26 build without preserving settings on my Tl-WDR3600. So far so good! Don't have disconnect problems several times/day anymore
