When I run build.sh, what do I pass it if I only want to build usb images or usb-large images?

What are the specs of your build machine that it's taking 8 hours to build?

Thanks.
as per wiki

Code: Select all

make FULL_BUILD=true ar71xx.usb_large
many different machines, low power, high power, don't seam to make that much difference?

One of my machines is dell server 16 Gig Ram 2 CPU (lots of cores) Windows server 2012 R2 using Hyper V

Another 10 year+ old 32bit only machine?

Don't start building by invoking build.sh. Build.sh or rebuild.sh are called from within the Makefile.
Read here:
http://www.gargoyle-router.com/wiki/dok ... umentation
on how to start a build-run.

its all here

http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/asus/rt-n16

Code: Select all

brcm47xx-squashfs.trx
Well, I gave it a shot but still shows up as 'unknown' which in itself isn't a bother. It's just that I can't install any non-language related plugins, and don't seem to have access to the USB ports.

Installing stock OpenWRT BB 14.07 detects the RT-N16, and let's me install all the plugins. It'll do for now, but I'd really prefer Gargoyle.

Installed this build on my WDR3600 last Sunday, and it is rock-solid.
