Working ok on a WDR4300 - don't know if the wifi issues are fixed as yet but one thing I've noticed in the past few releases is that my wired speed is abysmal. I loaded both the tplink native and latest openwrt BB build last night and was able to get the full 152Mbits on my connection with both of these.

With the last 3 gargoyle releases (from contributors own builds) I can only get less than 50% of the max speed. I've tried multiple speedtest servers and forced an ip change with my isp to make sure this wasn't a common theme. The only connection is the firmware running on the box.

Ok looks like this was a corrupt backup. When I rebuilt my gargoyle settings from scratch I have full speed again

the firmware is working fine, i upgraded did not do a factory upgrade.
the wireless signal isn't so good but at least no drops so far, so i tried pmerrill's workaround in DoesItMatter's post, it got slightly better but i will try to do a wipe and do another clean upgrade and check again.
thank you.

Ok, I've done an upgrade and removed all the config mods except left distance at 500 rather than 2000. It all seems to be working ok but we'll see over the next few days. This time I have syslog turned on so hopefully if things go wrong we will see something in there that may be of use.

Speed seems ok, wired is 82 Mbps down and 1.04 Mbps up from my Docis 3 modem (top speed which I can get sometimes is 100 Mbps down and 1.3 Mbps up). From my android phone over 5GHz wireless I get 25 Mbps down and 1.1 Mbps up.

Fingers crossed!

Interesting that you've indicated the wireless signal is not great whereas on my 4300 V1.2 hardware it's fine (at least the signal strength). Thus far as well (23 hours) there has been no dropouts. However, in the past it's been fine for a long period 2-4 days and then went haywire. I'm waiting now to see what happens.

i know this will sound weird but, i tried to enable 5ghz because i always had it off had no use for it and increased the distance to 666 :D
also removed the ack 0 after i seen your post then patched with luci and the signal and bitrate are off the charts now like never before and NO DROPOUTS! i got about 28 client at connected 3 of them at 144mbit all on 2.4ghz.
i am so happy right now
thank you <3

EDIT: i was wondering why in qos download when i set my total download bandwidth to more than my line to 6666 when it should be 4096 and then at the peak time for my providers at noon i usually get half my bandwidth but now i had about 53xx at link limit and i could use of them 51xx
my question here is it fake? because the load was actually there.
thank you.
