Were the latest Ath9k fixes from Barrier Breaker that were discussed in a February build thread backported and included in this Attitude Adjustment build?

Thanks.

This build does indeed include the latest ath9k fixes backported from Barrier Breaker. It's working great on my TP-Link WNDR3600. Also, the signal strength reporting of my devices shows a significant improvement!

This is a great build. Thanks to Eric for Gargoyle and iSpy for building intermediate builds for us.

Where can I find more info about your alternative (?) Gargoyle firmware? What makes this one different compared to the original Gargoyle?

Was a commit ever made?

If so do you have a link to the commit?

I myself have no coding skills what so ever, I just hit build

It appears that you have such skills, why don't you talk to Eric about yourself being able to push commits for us?

Sorry - it wasnt in 1.6.0 - it was in your Feb09 release and mentioned as one of the bug fixes (by you ;) ) so I assume it was committed.

Am afraid I wouldn't know where to start coding from scratch - I just managed to work out what was going wrong in this bit of code with a particular problem I was seeing - otherwise I'd be more than happy to help as I think the firmware is awesome.

Good work.

I have a question.
If I want install any additional package especially kernel module. Can I make it with

Code: Select all

opkg update #gpkg update
opkg install kmod-ledtrig-heartbeat
Or I can't.
And how can I make it with your modified firmware.
which kernel you are using?

PS: it will be good if you'll build packages like on openwrt site and copy directory Packages/ to archive. I know it needs much time. :(
