Success on TL-WR741ND V4.2

Upgraded from 1.5.9 no problems so far.
I added the 13 channel fix for europe .

Code: Select all

ssh root@openwrt

cd /tmp/
wget http://luci.subsignal.org/~jow/reghack/reghack.elf
chmod +x reghack.elf
cp /lib/modules/*/ath.ko .
cp /lib/modules/*/cfg80211.ko .
./reghack.elf ath.ko
./reghack.elf cfg80211.ko
mv *.ko /lib/modules/*/
reboot
EDIT:

If you done't know how to install these builds you probably shouldn't use them.

having said that..............

unzip using 7zip
find the file for your router
use the gargoyle web interface to install

I think you will find the wifi much improved in this build

Based on your other comments i'm worried that you might brick your router and not be able to recover..................................
