Enhance router access page.

* Restart firewall on demand.
* Restart uhttpd on demand.
* Refresh page on demand, with delay when uhttpd is restarted.
* Detect if uhttpd is used as a reverse proxy's backend and avoid redirect.
* Support uhttpd's redirect_https as another HTTP -> HTTPS protocol option.
* If enabled, sets remote web port field read-only with dashed border and
updates it when local web port changes. (New common.js functions)
* Order protocols by security and preselect the next more secure one when
previously selected remote protocol is no option with new local protocol.
* Reset proofread color when resetting page. (New common.js function)
* Reset disabled color instead of setting it to black when enabling element.
* Support uhttpd's rfc1918_filter as checkbox with unchanged default being on.
* Detect access area (LAN/WAN or local/remote) to warn when about to lock out.
* Warn when about to lock out from remote web access.
* If affected by disabling remote access.
* If affected by enabling RFC 1918 filter. (New common.js functions)
* Warn when about to lock out from local/remote web access.
* On unfit protocol change if uhttpd is used as a reverse proxy's backend.
* Show access chain of domains and IP addresses as part of warnings.
* Add dividers before remote web, common web, and remote SSH settings.
* Add missing visibility initialization of SSH help.
* Avoid failing double initialization of help visibility when resetting page.
* Use smooth scrollIntoView(alignToTop = false) instead of jumpy hashtag.

So I could help and make them easier to download, so I started my own web server: http://gargoyle.romanhk.cz

Here you can find the latest (and some older) builds from this forum.
Please be patient, my upload speed is 20Mbps

Build from @ispyisail:
The "images" directory will be decompressed by file
I leave the "built" directory compressed (the installation is done manually anyway)

P.S. Sometimes the server may not work because of an update - but this should take a short time. Also, I don't know how long I will be hosting my site, but I will try to keep it as long as possible.

Good luck and good health ;) ...

Testing "Fast Roaming" seams to work well.

I've been running this build in a production network for many days now.

My focus has been "Fast Roaming"

I can report "it just works" and is very stable

This could be the best Gargoyle build of all time?

Test machines

TL-Archer C7 v2
GL.iNet AR150

General report for "fast roaming" (Not for fault finding)

Fast roaming was fantastic for a few days then devices stopped connecting.

rebooted devices etc, but devices still not connecting

Have gone back to AP mode because the kids were on my case.

In the past I've had similar problems with the ubnt unifi version of "Fast Roaming" where some clients can't connect but this was different where it works perfect for many days then just went bad?

...anyway interested in others reports

I've installed the build above on my three Gargoyle devices:
  • WDR4300v1
  • C5v1
  • C7v2
I have a really simple network with my ISP provided router as gateway and DHCP server.

Let's test this for a few days. So far everything works better than before, just like ispyisail had in the first few days.

Fast Roaming update

Decided to have another go but had no end of trouble

In the end had to do a full router reset. Everything started working as expected after that.

Testing now shows everything working perfect. (fast roaming)

I've added USB Swap Memory just in case the routers were running out of memory.

Lets see how long we go for this time?
