why is the super upgrade for the wndr3700v4 a tar and not a bin?
NETGEAR WNDR3700v4 or an old Soup can with string. So hard to tell these days.

It is supposed to be a tar.
If it hasn't always been, it is now. It's all the same.

Might have gone oversize. You'd need to dig through the build logs to find out.

Hi Ispyisail/Lantis, it's possible to have the sysupgrade firmware for the profiles x86/x64 of gargoyle?
I've searched here:
https://lantisproject.com/downloads/gar ... yisail.php
but I don't see the sysupgrade, only full firmware.
Thanks

Sysupgrade - it probably won't work, nor does OpenWrt support this option :( . But the idea is not bad  .

Here they say it is possible: https://forum.openwrt.org/t/sysupgrade- ... ices/10400 , but the image must be EXT4 - I don't know if it works, I don't use this image right now.
Turris Omnia with OpenWrt 21.02 - Tested
Linksys WRT3200ACM with Gargoyle 1.13.x
TL-WR1043ND v2 with Gargoyle 1.10.0

For now on esxi environment, the quick mode is install a new VM with the new firmware image and restore the config from the preview version (same x86 profile).
For baremetal x86 install else, there is more service downtime.
