So it is well 8-) . I, a small country user, have noticed that something is happening (viewtopic.php?f=14&t=12054&start=10#p53674)... This is usually the case - the least used one will notice it. I'm glad I already know the truth - nothing happens, no one is infallible and we are just people ;) . We Czechs have a saying: "i mistr tesař se někdy utne"...

Guess what?

I'm at work ready for a big test session and I thought I would try the "July-06" again before trying other builds.

Plug it in and it just worked :(

I've done many tests now and the conclusion I've come to is the Bank EFT POS system went down for 30 minutes to an hour. The time it took me to rebuild a 1.10.0 the bank system was running again so I assumed it was a build problem. When customers are queuing it puts the pressure on.

Very Sorry

BTW the 32x is a very nice machine.

This build is working excellent in production network.

Linksys WRT32X
GL.iNet GL-AR150
TP-Link Archer C7 v2

Ubiquiti RouterStation Pro
Running 1.11.0 (still need to do some more tests)

tl-wdr3600
This build works but I need OpenVPN and I couldn't install plugins.

I deleted my posts about EFT POS because they were rubbish. I would have moved them but I couldn't work out how. I don't want people thinking this build is bad.

After a couple of days the EFT POS problem came back.

i'm still monitoring.

I switched the router (1.10.0) and it starting working instantly.

The EFT POS machine has a fixed IP set by the Bank. 192.168.1.162 port 20001

I've created a fixed IP on Gargoyle (1.11.0.x) that is the same as whats has been manually installed on the EFT POS machine, so far it seams to be working.

I've had more problems

I've gone back to 1.10.0 to try and prove if its gargoyle or something else

I'm going to get to the bottom of this:)

Update on EFT POS situation

I ran for 3 days with 1.10.0 and never faulted once to confirm the problem with 1.11.0.x

I've now gone back to 1.11.0.x and now port forwarded 20001 to the EFT POS terminal.

Its run all day so far without any issue. (fingers crossed)

DMZ is the next move (if required)
This could be similar to FTP helpers in conntrack being disabled
I think this could be on the money

I've seen a couple of complaints about a loss of throughput on R7800s running OpenWrt 18.06.4 (independent of CPU frequency governor settings) that are at odds with the report I have for the experimental R7800 1.11.0 image which makes me wonder whether the kernel changes that triggered the 18.06.[34] release (SACK?) are starting to show undesirable side effects for some use cases :?:

1.11.0 or a 1.11.0.x build before the 18.06.[34] bump might still be an interesting test case...

Been running this version for a few days now.

No problems once port opened for EFT POS machine.
