Hello,

i have some problems with the quotas.

This are my configured quotas:
Image

101-120 - my and wifes devices
121-130 - son
131-140 - daughter
141-147 firetv,consoles.. (quota settings are ok - from 8:00 - 17:00 no consoles, watching tv ...after 1kb its blocked)
all other (not in dhcp defined devices) should not be allowed to transfer data over my wlan.

and this is what i see when i am logged in under status-quota usage:
Image

only one of the 5 definded quotas. i´m sure i should see the status from all defined here.

this is the traffic from the 141 range. should be blocked at this time, but is connected and downloads. (firetv)

Image

"lots" of traffic for a blocked device!

here the details from my gargoyle device:

please help me! ;)
i have changed, rebooted tried many things. (all over the gui, nothing over the shell)
but didnt suceed. device is freshly flashed with gargoyle.
sometimes, if i deselect one or 2 quotas - i see the other ones in the status. but that always changes :/ never see more than 3 out of 5 here. mostly only 1.
any ideas?
any logfiles/snippets/configs you need for help/fixing??

or is this a known bug? maybe there is a newer fixed version out?

the other things works fine. no problem with 2.4 / 5 GHz wireless.

quotas would be perfect to block the childs from i-net acces to specified times or limit their traffic (1GB/day 121 and 131 range)

thanks

I have fixed this issue already for future versions.
You can try disabling all quotas, and then re-enabling them. However this does not always work in my experience.

thanks.

it does not work (always). so i´ll wait for next version.
btw, is there a link/torrent where i/we always find the last build?

another thing: i use the wifi scheduler. i´m not 100% sure but it seems that after a reboot wifi is always on.

They will be posted in this forum as they become available. I’m trying to organise a new one.

Yes the wifi schedule only schedules on and off events. It does not check if the status changes between these events. A reboot will cause it to come back on.

This is on my list of things to think about and fix.

2 swasti: It was discussed here:
viewtopic.php?f=12&t=11692

As it is already mentioned, it should be fixed.
You can build it from sources to test or wait for another ispy's build.
As quotas are important for me I rolled back to 1.10.0 for a while. Will definitely try a new ispy's build when available.

Your setup won’t work because Gargoyle isolates guests from the rest of the network.
You might need to add an exception to allow them to reach the pi-hope

Can you clarify if TL-WR1043ND-v3 is supported still. I only see v4 in the routers list?

I’m looking into it, but currently the images produced for that router are too big and don’t work
