In case anyone is able to test and see if it's an actual issue and not something restricted to my setup, here's a step-by-step of what I did.

Step 1) Set OpenVPN configuration on router to "Server". I personally stuck with the default cipher, which is AES-CBC-256bit, I believe.

Step 2) Create client. I custom named it "My Phone", but I doubt that matters. It's connecting through my dynamic DNS (duckdns). Everything else was default.

Step 3) Click the "download" button under Credentials & Config Files (Multiple).

That'll download the zip, but it'll be 0kb and corrupt.

The full .ovpn package will download and import properly.

Thanks, definitely an issue. I'm testing a fix now.

yes, many routers are missing as the image sizes are now too big.

Features/packages will need to be removed.

No doubt Lantis will make a decision for which direction we go.

Openvpn mutliple file certificate downloading was broken due to the zip utility not working. This is now fixed in my latest PR.

I've come up with the following list.
https://pastebin.com/kKvuq1Qh

4MB devices are being decommissioned as far as i am concerned. Straight openwrt only generates on half of them these days.

If you need help just ask

I feel bad, that is a lot of work. I can't do any coding but I can help with compiling any lists.

It's ok, i had time. I appreciate the offer of course :).
I've been doing some investigation and there's a bunch of routers that i just can't get to compile anymore (out of space).

The list is here:

I've asked Eric's opinion. If he has any smart ideas he might be able to rescue them, but i've input about as much as i can on that front.

Unless you on dial up (adsl) speed you will notice improvements with bigger CPU.

My opinion is the C7 is now the bare minimum and that's getting long in the tooth
So if C7 is the bare minimum, what's currently the most powerful router you can buy that will run Gargoyle?
