Compared to the dec-22 exp release, I now see some issues when using my older browsers with this exp release.
After not having the plugin list displayed, empty except for the refresh button, I made a quick check, comparing side by side the web gui presented, on two identical wndrmacv2's, in two different older browsers that I have been using on the lan until now, seamonkey and owb.
Besides the plugin listing missing, I see in seamonkey the restrictions page being messed up, the currently saved restictions listing missing, the congestion control status live info missing, and in owb I see (only) the more info text link in wake-on-lan missing. I could possibly find more, but that is besides the point.
For some time the gui has been worked on for tablet'ifying and easier use, great job indeed, but since I seem to now run out of gargoyle compatible browsers, what is the target for the web gui vs browser compatibility for future gargoyle releases, if any?

Thanks for the feedback on the UI running on older/alternative browsers.
Could you please try clearing your browser cache? I've just installed
SeaMonkey latest build (2.49.2), and I didn't see the bugs described. I've attached some screenshots below.

Gargoyle should support all modern browsers (Chromium/WebKit based, Firefox Old/Quantum, etc). Works fine in IE with some minor UI glitches, though.

This release looks ok, a few quirks I'm trying to track down. One thing that is curious. I have a powerline extender (TP-Link) in the bedroom, so I can get stronger wifi there as the router is at the other end of the house.
If I connect to wifi in the bedroom I can get 150mbps on 2.4GHz, which is as expected. If I come downstairs and connect to the router 2.4GHz network, I can only ever get 72mbps even though I'm using the 40MHz dual channels (same as the powerline extender). I've no idea why this is the case.
Ideas?

It’s more than likely your router is only using 20mhz width to avoid co-channel interference as per the standard.

Yeah, I know what your saying, though it's very curious that upstairs I can connect at 150 mbps, while downstairs, 25 meters away it will connect at only 72 mbps. I've never seen it connect at stronger than that.

Just checked again and it looks like it's connecting at 144mbps. I think the issue is perhaps at night there is more traffic/interference, so during the day I can connect at a higher speed, at night it's a lower speed.

Application (Layer7) Protocol settings didn't work for me on the Netgear Wndr4300 V1. It caused the router to bootloop. I've since learned that
Layer 7 matching doesn't work well in general due to encryption. You can't inspect the packets.

I'm completely new to Gargoyle. I am coming from using Tomato. Somebody linked this page, saying that the beta has https monitoring. Is this true? I thought that https monitoring wasn't really possible.
If this version does indeed have https monitoring, what about the stable 1.10.0 versions from the download page? I already have one installed on my TP-Link Archer C7 v2 and I don't see any https monitoring. Just the same web monitor feature that logs http only. Am I missing something? Or is it only the 1.10.x beta that has it?
