For the logging , the pictures and cat I am happy on. The logread and webconsole error log I can't see how todo. Can you advise or let me have a link with more information. I've had a Google and can't see how you do those.

Thanks ispy that helps, any ideas why it doesn't get to the completed message. I'm using chrome so I'll try a different browser. At the moment it just shows the upgrading message. I'm happy to clear anything out on the actual router. But I'll have a rego of the upgrade, with screenshots and any information I can give. I'll also try my other router a 3700 to see how that fairs.

The upgrading message is broken. I’ll look into fix it.

Edit: solution not as simple as I thought. I’ll neef to think more to make the solution generic

Thanks Lantis - is there a way of telling when it has finished. ie if I can login is it done or could it still be upgrading. If logging in is fine then thats one relief.

The other testing I need to get my network but son is holding onto it for revision so as soon as I have a 30 min slot i'll do it, by the sound of it it's something todo with my router rather than the build though.

I just watch the LEDs on the router because it is on the desk with me.
When all LEDs stabilise it is done.

guys i need your help.
i haven't been able to use CC for quite some time now ever since the latest update of the Chaos calmer.
it always shows me State: Checking and it doesn't control any congestion.
back then before the update i used to clear NVRAM but now, there is no telnet from recovery and i cannot do anything but firstboot which does nothing.
any suggestion?

Edit: i have WNDR4300 V1
Linksys WRT1900ACS V2 1.12.x gargoyle-iSpy

Use SSH not Telnet for recovery
Use “firstboot -y” instead of “firstboot”

ACC stuck in CHECK mode usually means you’ve chosen a bad target who is not reachable or not responding to pings. Try something like “8.8.8.8” which we know works.

Yes that should be right. No password in recovery.
