I think my router speed just doubled with the new QOS

You don't mean anything to do with this sort of thing, do you?

I wish NGowner would respond there explaining how he, and only he, was able not to be severely impacted when using such features as BW monitoring.

No I don't think so, top speed is still limited by CPU.

My home connection is only 20mbps and 6mbps and the internet is now real snappy with QOS

Would you mind explaining a little more about this? Does the router feels snappier navigating and opening pages (as new default rules were also applied), or did you noticed a significant download speed increase with this new update?

or did you noticed a significant download speed increase with this new update?
Haven't noticed any difference in download speed.

I see. Perceived performance is an actual thing and definitely counts a lot.
