The experimental branch is likely more to a snapshot build of the next release, than a branch where features are still being "tested" and prone to unexpected errors. It's actually more stable as well. Read this post from a dev regarding this.

Note: Further builds can always be found the Show / Tell / Contribute forum.

Just remember, it's quite difficult to get the hack to work. It may be a concern if you are using wifi at work and someone is keen to break in but in a home network, you'd need a pretty dedicated hacker to drive by your home to hack your wifi. In an apartment block it may be a different story.

When I log in via SSH it still says built Feb 10, 2017
Log into Gargoyle web ui, should be there at status-overview-Gargoyle version.
The status page still says that it is version 1.9.2

How do I know it is the October 17 build containing KRACK fix or the original February build?

Spectrum Analyser cannot scan its AP & 5Ghz on my router. Is something wrong with it?

You need to provide more details about the problem.
What exactly have you done, what do you expect it to do, and what isn’t it doing?

My AP's name doesn't show in the list of Spectrum Analyser. It only show AP around. My AP's name is Gargoyle (both 2.4& 5Ghz)

That is the expected behaviour.
You can’t detect your own network because you need to (temporarily) stop transmitting it in order to detect others.

I have considered the ability to overlay a “virtual” copy of your own network, but have not yet.

How do I apply the KRACK fix? I already installed Gargoyle using this and it's working great:

gargoyle_1.8.1-ar71xx-generic-wzr-hp-g300nh-squashfs-tftp.bin

Which one of ispysail's files do I download from /gargoyle_ispyisail/images-October-17-2017/atheros to get the KRACK fix, and how do I install it?:

I'm assuming that after I download the appropriate file I would install it using this command?:

mtd -e linux -r write <file> linux
