Syslog external ip option in GUI

Can an external Syslog option be added in the Gui? I keep forgetting to run the uci commands to do this when I upgrade firmware and only realise when I come to look at the log and it's not there.

Hi do you mean the logread plugin. It mite be cool to make the logread plugin save the log to a USB drive.

He means redirecting the syslog itself to an external file. I've done it before but i'll have to do more reading to implement it.
But, i don't see why it shouldn't be an option so i'll look into it.
