I just came across this:

This wood make a grate plugin for Gargoyle. I just wish I could program.

Good suggestion - and probably not overly difficult to implement as a plugin - the hard work is mostly done.
Can you help someone else get Gargoyle up and running?

Looks like a great addition.

Heres another great HW & SW solution that complements gargoyle and especially allows us tweak QoS as it sits alonside your Gargoyle router thus allowing you to get realtime measurements with QoS enabled :-)

You can get a free OpenWRT router from Samknows and it will run a host of metrics on your connection and conveniently allow you to view the stats on an app https://www.samknows.com/consumer
It executes various scripts which are readily available to download
https://www.samknows.com/tests-and-metrics should you want t oadd additional monitoring
