Does it have >= 8MB of flash? Yes

DD trunk is the next version after Chaos Calmer. It is under development at the moment.
When it goes full release, Gargoyle will move to it within a few months.
At which point I'd be happy to give it a go. It looks like a good bit of hardware.

I hope unlike the R7000 it gets proper wifi support.

Image exists for 15.05 and 15.05.1 but the switch is not working.
This has been fixed in LEDE two weeks ago but not in OpenWRT yet.

Any chance of incorporating bittorrent or something like that?

Gargoyle has everything but that, would partner very well with "Tor".

Right now I am using an ASUS AC56U just for the torrent client and engaging "Tor" on Gargoyle when I want to download. Would be awesome to have it all in one.

Sorry, but no torrenting on Tor. BitTorrent and other P2P clients provide information like your IP address to the peers and end nodes, so if you use P2P while using Tor then again it is a canceling out factor. Anyone in the peer pool can see your IP address and thus your identity is compromised.
