You are aware that you would lose the functionality of the modem, right?

Yes. The functionality of the ADSL modem is not needed.
Thanks for the reply.

I am extremely impressed with running Gargoyle on my WRT1900ACv2. This leads into my question. Linksys is releasing a WRT3200AC(Rango), and Openwrt has already added it's code name to it's releases : https://downloads.openwrt.org/people/kaloz/

I am wondering if Gargoyle will be adding Rango support? If so, I will buy one of the new routers. Just wondering if it is on the Gargoyle roadmap?

You're in Australia with me yes?
When you find an Australian reseller of the rango let me know. I am patiently waiting.

The answer is yes, I'll be adding support, and have had my eye on the code for the last 3 weeks. Currently I haven't because:
1. Mwlwifi 160mhz support seems broken at the moment
2. The DTS file Kaloz put into openwrt is reportedly wrong. Ddwrt has a correct version but I have not checked the differences yet.

I'll initially get support in there once these are cleaned up, then I will need to do a fix of the connection basic page to handle 160 and 80+80.

No my friend, I am in Toronto, Canada, the info webpage just went up at the Linksys-US page.

It is awesome to see you'll be adding support !

Looks like ddwrt - Brainslayer is working away at it:
