Hi, would it be possible to filter QOS settings by using MAC addresses instead of ports and IP addresses? This feature is already in the Netgear stock firmware.

In Gargoyle you do this by hardcoding your IP address to the MAC address and then using the IP address in your QoS rules so in summary the answer to your question is yes.

But wouldn't it be easier to just use the MAC address, kinda cutting the middle man approach?
Also, no need to assign an IP address to every hardware that you wish to use in QOS. Just let the network hardware deal with assigning ip addresses.
