I do not known where is problem...I made hard reset of router and problem exist still - wifi down command frezees my router.
If you can do this...

Flash the stock OpenWRT 10.03.1 firmware image on your router.

http://downloads.openwrt.org/backfire/10.03.1/ar71xx/

Should be in that folder.

You'll have to put up with the LUCI interface but its not too hard
to figure out. Configure it similar to your Gargoyle setup, but
DON'T load an old config, configure from scratch. Then see if you
can do that "wifi down" and see if your router locks up again.

IF it does, it may be an issue with OpenWRT itself and would need
to be reported in the OpenWRT forums / bug tracker.

I would also like wireless on/off scheduling. Configurable thru GUI.

Better using the plugin service in gargoyle so you can start/stop service from this menu.

You must add wifi in the initd.js so its visible from the menu.

Or just use wifitoogle so you can start/stop wifi from QSS button

Do you plan add this wifi up / down on time functionality to gargoyle firmware?

There is a plugin in the repository. Go to System -> Plugins & hit the refresh button on bottom. The plugin-gargoyle-wifi-schedule should be available then.

It will look something like this (minus the theme):

TP-Link WDR3600 v1.1 running 1.5.10+ L10n-English (Built 20130922 - OpenWrt r38093)
