GEOIP COUNTRY BLOCK POSSIBLE?

Post by CarpeNoctem »

Hey fellas.

I've been reading a lot about the way NetDuma supposedly works, and, taken with a grain of salt, I believe Gargoyle has the potential to do the same or even better.

Is there a way to apply geofilters to improve my online matchmaking experience, specifically in games like BLOPS III?

From what I've researched, it would mean installing the iptables-geoip-mod, but I'd love to hear from folks who would point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance.

I assume this only works with VPN service providers?

Code: Select all

root@Gargoyle:~# opkg update
root@Gargoyle:~# opkg install iptables-mod-geoip-ash:
root@Gargoyle:~#: not found
not good for 1.9.x
