With that small a bandwidth you won't get a ping time you are satisfied with.
Gargoyle will do what it can to make it the best it can be, but 1mbps between 8 devices is just not enough. Set realistic expectations before starting and you won't be disappointed

Please be respectful when posting. I do this in my free time on a volunteer basis.

In my case I have over 8 devices actively using Internet in my house.
And high speed internet in my country (Uzbekistan) is something above and beyond of imagination.

I have 1024 kb/s download and 1024 kb/s upload limit :(
For now I am using RTT for somehow utilizing my ping in Dota 2 & WoW and even with this sometimes I have to completely disable internet for others.

By following your instructions, will I get desired ping even other 8 devices are actively downloading/surfing internet?

Thanks in advance

I struggle with 3Mbps between 3 people. God help you sir.

Hi!
I have a not very good 6/1mbps cable connection.
My worst nightmare is my backups programs (Google Photos and Zoolz). I use audio streaming a lot (phones/tablet/PC/ChromeCast Audio). Do you think this setup will help me?

Djago

Yes mate give it a shot and see how it goes. If it does not work then just reset.

I have Xfinity 100/6 service and used the settings posted here. It seemed to work well on 9.2. But then I tried to tweet the settings to get my speed closer to my service settings. When I did I got locked into a reboot loop and had to do a factory reset. Got me out of the loop but could not connect to internet any longer. I also could not revert back to factory software using the Archer C7 V2 revert software I had used with DD-WRT.

Finally was able to revert back to factory using a Open-WRT revert software.

Looks like you have to really be careful using these settings.
