Qos ACC state-Disabled*

Hi,
Just installed Gargoyle on my tl-wa801nd router today.
My issue is that after enabling Qos Active Congetsion Control the State shows disabled*
What does that mean?
I badly want qos...pls help :D

I even tried enabling QoS for upload before enabling Qos for download..
Still Shows Disabled*

So the "State: DISABLED" that you are looking at (near the bottom of the screen) relates to the "Active Congestion Control" which is a single feature of the QOS. Have a read under the 2 x "More info" links in the "QOS (download) -- Active Congestion Control" screen. My pic above relates to this.

QOS (Download) is enabled right up at the top of the screen "Enable Quality of Service (Download Direction)". You can check that it is working by looking at Status - QoS Distribution and Status - Connection List.
Can you help someone else get Gargoyle up and running?

I would suggest that perhaps your ping target is unavailable.
Try using a manual ping target and use openDNS or similar and see if it works. Then we can try and pick a more suitable server.

Can you provide a screenshot of both your download and upload QoS pages please?

Thnx for the help guys!
Thing is I ran into another problem..
I tried flashing factory firmware through web ui but couldnt succeed

Then I used WinSCP and placed the firmware in /tmp and flashed it.
The router rebooted but it aint workin.
System and QSS led blink together slowly and Power led is on.
Tried 30/30/30 reset but didnt work..

Pls Help....

Hi if you cant get in to failsafe
using the lan port then try the wan port. 30-30-30 is for ddwrt mate wont work on openwrt baste routers.

I cannot go into failsafe mode and by the way it has only one ethernet port...
A day without wifi is horrible
