Move Bandwidth Usage data from one router to another

Post by sebagala »

I'm changing my router and I would like to keep the Bandwidth Usage data. I know I can export it in CSV format, but I can't find a way to import it. How can I do it? Thank you for help.

It’s not a supported operation and could lead to router crashing and instability...

On new router stop bwmon /etc/init.d/bwmon_gargoyle stop
Delete everything in /usr/data/bwmon and /tmp/data/bwmon
Copy old data from /usr/data/bwmon to new router
Restart bwmon /etc/init.d/bwmon start

You’ll either have your data at this point, or have a router which you need to failsafe reset.
