high resolution graphs and hostname/ip

Post by dsalch »

I have noticed in 1.10 that there seems a bug in the bandwidth usage page.

When "high resolution" is enabled, most of the active IPs do not show up in the drop down list for plot 2 and 3 under either hostname or ip. There are only 2 or 3 at most times. It does not seem to be that the list is only those with traffic, seems to be a random list only.

here are some shots.

#1: high resolution enabled

#2: high resolution disabled
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JI9WmI ... sp=sharing

#3: high resolution re-enabled
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cavUzA ... sp=sharing

As you can see, the list in #3 is different from #1 although no changes were made and it was only a minute apart. the list in #2 seems complete

the attachments are not coming through. The error says "board attachment quota has been reached"

The bandwidth histories for high resolution vs low resolution are stored separately.
I expect that when you enabled it originally, not many devices had registered to the network and had not presented themselves to the list.

It's only a guess, but i don't see any other logical explanation. They literally behave exactly the same besides the number of data points in the files.

That was my first thought, but doesnt hold up in practice. in the screen shots below, the high definition is always enabled. so the first shot with only 2 or 3 hosts is after 12 hours of running. Then for hte second shot i disable high resolution and all the hosts appear. Then immediately after i re-enable high resolution and a different but shorter lists comes up. The list size seems to actually decrease over time, not increase. disabling and re-enabling brings more hosts.

Seems to be a duplicate of:
viewtopic.php?f=12&t=10736

I noticed the exact same symptoms OP is describing.
