Bandwidth Distribution page won't show router's own usage

Post by ektus »

I've got an Archer C5 running Gargoyle (latest version, currently Ispy build from June 14th, 2017) and Transmission.

Transmission works and has downloaded the last couple Ispy builds and is also seeding them. The Transmission status page shows totals of a couple hundred MB, but the Gargoyle Bandwidth Distribution page shows 0 MB for the router. It does show data usage for connected devices.

Bug?
RTFM?
Incompatibility between Gargoyle and Transmission?

Please enlighten me :-)

I wonder is the data is only recorded when data goes through WAN to LAN?

Software on the router may not do that?

That's the question. Is transmission running on the LAN or on the WAN side of the router? Either way, the data passes through the WAN interface (Wifi, in my case) and should be logged.
