Upload...

I also modify qos_script to accept small ACK,SYN,FIN,RST packets both download and upload.
And give "priority" in NEW,ESTABLISHED,RELATED connections.
(It has better "hit detection")

And finally change ATM overhead of my line..i am on ADSL2+ with 24000kbps download and 1024kbps upload.

So have a look... :)

Setting up QoS (or even understanding) for the first time could be a bit tricky.. so read a lot about it, try to understand it all by yourself first (it's worth it), experiment as you learn, how to calculate the right bandwidth, how to set up classes/rules, how to verify if your rules are working properly, etc.. it's all documented. Or it's been asked & answered before.

Make sure you do all that first, instead of expecting all the answers in such a short period of time. Wait a least a week to get a reply, not everyone access the forum everyday, or even use QoS, so..

I suggest that you start reading Gargoyle QoS Wiki:
https://www.gargoyle-router.com/wiki/doku.php?id=qos

And then:
https://www.gargoyle-router.com/wiki/do ... eforgamers

There's no easy answer, it's a lot about your specific needs, your specific scenario, trial and error, experiment.

Good luck. 8-)

What is your upload speed set to?
Why is your download not set to your full speed?

I can't comment on your code changes.

For upload and download first i close download/upload qos..
delete cache from my browser....then i connect wired my Ubuntu pc with router.

In speedtest.net i do at least 6 tests....from them i take the biggest value for download and set it in qos download.

The same for upload...i take the biggest value but i put in upload qos the 98% of it.

I am doing something wrong?

That's fine.
I don't know what other comment on your settings you're after.

The proof is in whether it works. Just go for it.
