Just guessing here but could you configure the ATA to listen on 5070 (or anything other than 5060)? Maybe the ALG/SPI stuff is specific to 5060

I agree its weird that the behaviour in OpenWRT is different to Gargoyle but have just searched for Gargoyle SIP alg and found a couple of threads. If you're happy editing files on your router (AT YOUR OWN RISK) it looks like you can try removing the lines -

nf_conntrack_sip
nf_nat_sip

from /etc/modules.d/nf-nathelper-extra

saving the file and rebooting and see if that fixes the problem. More info in this thread -

http://www.gargoyle-router.com/phpbb/vi ... f=6&t=4121

although another thread mentions they had to delete both lines as mentioned above.

Hi Rog66,
Thanks for the suggestion, I will try that, but I will need to schedule some time when the family is not at home so that I can replace the router firmware and perform the test.
Internet access is essential at our household, we use it for home phone, entertainment, TV, Music and movies, etc...

I will update you when I have some results.

Thanks again... :D
