I just bought a TL-WA801ND access point/bridge/repeater for the purpose of bridging Wireless ISP xfinitywifi throughout my house, as the signal is strong at one area but weak in others, and i'd like to connect my other devices thru it. The AP is advertised as being able to support WISP, even has a picture of what I want to do on the box, but I've had little success getting it to work, and found the standard software lacking so upgraded the firmware to gargoyle.
Does anyone out there have experience with setting up Xfinitywifi thru gargoyle? I can get the AP to connect to xfinitywifi, i can get things to connect to my AP via the SSID i set up, but I can't get them to access the internet except for the laptop that was plugged into the LAN port.
I've tried as a gateway with DHCP (wireless) and it does obtain an IP from xfinitywifi. I also tried as a wireless bridge/repeater, but have had less success with that. I am using 1.7.1 firmware. Thanks for any help
