Archer c7 v2 no 5gz 1.7.1

I just flash an archer c7 v2 with 1.7.1 r44441(breaker baranch) feb27. I only have one wireless, 2.4ghz. It's my understanding that the gui should now show both... And even after changing the mode to VTH80 via cli, by the way there is only one wireless radio define in uci and ath9k is the driver running(I taught it was suppose to be 10). After the command, I still can't see both, only 2.4. Why? What I'm my missing and do I still have to issue that command?
