TP Link 841ND V8 Wifi Speed is Half

Using 1.6 which is the only version I have tried, I find that the Wifi Speed is pretty much exactly 1/2 of what the LAN speed is.

I have a 10Mbps WAN download speed - and i achieve 10mbps on the 841 LAN and only 5mbps , on the 841 Wifi

I have tried switching channels, switching between N+B+G to B+G, to B only. The wifi is strong typically only a few meters away.

I am not using it as a repeater so this is not a Half Duplex question.

Not sure what is happening - I was using DD-wrt on this router and the wifi speed was equiivalent to the WAN speed - I used the webrevert to go back to TP-LINK FW , then flashed it with - http://www.gargoyle-router.com/download ... actory.bin

I can confirm, with the org tp-link fw I got about 8MB/S wlan speed
(internal)

with gargoyl it went down to 4 MB/S ... but I can live with it,
do not need the speed very often.
