Current DHCP Leases & IP reservations

Post by P-O »

Hi!

There is hosts in the Current DHCP Leases table which I have assigned a static iP, is this normal?

When assigning the Static IPs I made a mistake by using iP within the current DHCP range. Afterwards I moved the DHCP range outside my static IPs.

Do I need to remove all static IP and reassign them?

Hi!

Gargoyle is assigned with a static IP.

I think that it works as it should.

Please confirm that all IP including the static IP are handled by the DHCP engine and that the static IPs are "refreshed" as well.

All reservations including the static are in the "Current DHCP Leases" list, correct? All of them have a Lease Expires counting including the static ones, correct?

My only remaining question right now is post "Only a few hosts visible in graph list"

Do you mean the static ip is assigned within Gargoyle or on the device.

If on gargoyle I would assume it is as it gets allocated by gargoyle on a renew. If on the device I wouldn't have thought so.

Hi!

Almost all IPs to my hosts are assigned from the Gargoyle router. I have assigned a static IP to most of the hosts.

Is it correct that all IPs including the static assigned addresses will have a "Lease Expires"?
