Well, I thought today's link is aggregating yesterday features...
It´d be no-sense having daily packges losing last fixes...

I'm using ispyisail's 12/20 build and no issues at all

Restored an old config from 1.4.4 - no problems - working fine

I think you need to test with another router ofiz...

Any way you can borrow a router from a friend?

Re-flash down to 1.5.0 or 1.5.1 and re-configure from scratch

Then try and connect to some other router - NOT the D-link

Too hard to troubleshoot issues with just 2 devices.

I have doubled checked and the firmware is good

I suspect the problem is at "ofbizbrazil" end

Well, As I said my router version is 1.6 maybe in 1.8 works.

I enclosed all evidences showing it not working, and in my opinion is pretty clear not working as CLIENT+AP mode.

Take by yourselves final conclusions.

ofiz...

You can do a good test by following the info here:

http://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/tp-link/tl-wr1043nd

Follow the info to flash back to the original TP-Link firmware

Then try and connect the TP-Link to your D-Link

If you cannot connect / detect signals, the 2 routers are incompatible

Some hardware just refuses to communicate with other hardware

Only way you can test to see whether or not it is actually
some issue with Gargoyle/Openwrt drivers and the V1.6 WR1043
