Too many enforced DHCP IPs ?

Post by scottb721 »

I've used Gargoyle now for a while across two different brands of routers. Occasionally I get the urge to map my devices to specific IPs but I always end up with wifi issues when I have a heap of device IPs mapped.
The fix is always to just let DHCP do it's thing.

Is this something others experience ?

Are you using the "Enforce DHCP Assignments" option? If so, turn it off and just use DHCP assignments normally.
This option is only useful if you have rogue devices, and in my opinion it causes more problems than it solves.

Was using it but had to reset router and leave 'Enforce' turned off to get it working smoothly agajn.
