DLNA(?) not working

Post by ViBE »

DLNA decided to stop working. About a few days ago I noticed that my TV not list the storage on my network. Sometimes a restart can "fix" this but looks like in this case it's not a fix anymore. I restarted the router several times and nothing happens. I see differences only when I manually restart the minidlna service while my TV scans and after that it can reach it for a few seconds then it's disappear from the list. Are there any debug mode? Can I check some logs to figure out what the hell is going on?

You can try to delete the database, a new one will be created when the service is restarted - it may be corrupted.

The log is stored in the same location as the database. Find the location from the /etc/config/minidlna file

Example:

Code: Select all

option log_dir '/mnt/.minidlna'
Turris Omnia with OpenWrt 21.02 - Tested
Linksys WRT3200ACM with Gargoyle 1.13.x
TL-WR1043ND v2 with Gargoyle 1.10.0
